The clinic was opened by Dr Sandra Garratt in 1994 and over the years it has earned a fine reputation for excellent treatment. Dr Garratt had been influenced by her father who is still practicing as a Chiropractor in the US. Each of her 3 sisters have also trained as Chiropractors. Growing up in a Chiropractic family made Chiropractic a lifestyle choice rather than just a great effective treatment for pain.

The Chiropractors at our clinic employ a range of techniques, which ensure that they have the means to help people of different ages, levels of health and fitness, degrees of possible degeneration, and to assist in pain reduction generally and a return to good bio-mechanical function of the spine and extremities.

"It is enormously satisfying explaining the nature of a problem to a patient, how it was likely caused, and then explaining how positive results can be achieved", says Dr Garratt. "Our patients often say how much they learn while on their treatment journey back to good health. Teaching a patient how to best look after themselves so that they do not suffer pain and discomfort unnecessarily is so rewarding."

Note: Chiropractic is a regulated profession. All practitioners have to be registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC). In addition each of us at Ascot Chiropractic Clinic is a member of the British Chiropractic Association (BCA).

Insurance: Most of the UK private health insurance companies have some degree of cover for Chiropractic care.
